CWMS 2.5 MR6 is here

This Maintenance Release, which was made available for download on CCO today, fixes quite a number issues, so an update is recommended. One of the fixes is a minor (perceived to be almost cosmetic) change to the order of dial-in numbers for audio: since November’s MR1 the order of the dial-in numbers has been changed to alphabetical. Prior to MR1, the order of dial-in numbers were as configured/shown in CWMS Admin interface (see CSCuu97168).

Please review the Release Notes for more information.

Alex

I have been working in the Unified Communication space for about a decade, with the most recent years devoting my attention almost exclusively to Cisco technologies. These include Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager), WebEx Meetings Server (CWMS), Cisco Jabber, Cisco TelePresence, and Cisco IronPort Email Security Appliances (ESA).

  1. Has anyone deployed or updated to 2.6 yet?

I noticed CWMS 2.6 has been released and is update-able from 2.5:

I just deployed a client on 2.5 and patched them up to MR6 due to being hesitant into jumping to 2.6 so early.

    Anyone running CWMS 2.6 yet?

    1. Haven’t jumped to 2.6 yet. From the looks of it, this release fixes a number of serious bugs that our users have experienced, so I won’t be delaying the upgrade.

      1. Just ran the update to 2.6 from 2.5MR6. It’s just a minor update total process took less than 2 hours for 250 user HA deployment. No issues.
